In 2008, the Lakeland Vascular Institute (LVI) was opened in order to meet the growing needs of vascular patients in our community. The Lakeland Vascular Institute is a center of excellence and is a subsidiary of Radiology and Imaging Specialists. By working together, we provide a multi-disciplinary approach to the diagnosis and treatment for our patients. From peripheral vascular disease, tumor ablation, and patients on dialysis, to the treatment of compression fractures and uterine fibroids, the Institute is designed to simplify the process of diagnosis and treatment of our patients.

http://www.osteomyelitiscenter.com - Founded by Dr. Karr The Osteomyelitis Center of Central Florida provides a calming environment for the patient.  It is within this environment that the patient will experience a team approach to the treatment of their bone infection.  This team will address the factors that negatively impact healing and will provide the support needed during the healing process to allow the patient to heal and return to family, hobbies, and work.

Treatment of osteomyelitis in the 21st century still eludes an FDA approved medicine or surgical procedure.  At The Osteomyelitis Center of Central Florida we welcome your referral.  However, with the resources of a comprehensive medical team approach including: proper antibiotic management, advanced wound care, advanced and state of the art surgical treatment, vascular evaluation and intervention,  hyperbaric oxygen therapy, and prosthetic management with rehabilitation the patient’s complete  recovery will be our goal.

http://www.ebjis.org - The aim of the Society is to promote the knowledge of all infections affecting the Musculoskeletal system (bone and joint infections), and to promote the prevention and treatment of these infections.

http://www.leinfections.com - Dr. Warren S. Joseph is a podiatric and infectious diseases attending at Roxborough Memorial Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. He is also a nationally recognized specialist in the treatment of lower extremity infectious diseases.

http://jdfc.org - Journal of Diabetic Foot Complications.   It is the sites goal to provide free and useful information that can be shared within the various professions that manage the diabetic foot. It is also our attempt to bridge information between various professions such as Podiatry, Foot & Ankle orthopaedics and a variety of other medical disciplines. This platform is a unique site to allow residents and private practitioners to submit interesting case studies or information relevant to the diabetic foot.

What Our Clients Are Saying:

"I am a very blessed man to have doctor Karr taking care of me. I stepped on a screw and got a serious bone infection, I was told that if I had gotten any other doctors I would have lost my foot. He took off my toe and bone from my foot and saved my foot!! I can't say enough good about doctor Karr, he knows his stuff. I would recommend him to anyone I'm hoping to keep him as my doctor permanently"
