Former Center of Excellence in Wound Care (2010-2013) at  The previous Wound Care Center location at Lakeland Regional Medical Center

A former comprehensive wound care course consisting of multi physician lectures, direct patient care observation, and in depth case discussion was established by myself in 2010 at the Wound Care Center at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. Unfortunately this course is no longer available.

Wednesday

6:30 pm: Reception and dinner

Thursday

7:30 am: breakfast and infection management in wound care lecture by Dr. Janet Skarda.

8:30 – 11:00 am: Observation and case discussion in Dr. Loret De Mola’s clinic

11:00 am – 1:00 pm: Lunch and comprehensive wound care lecture by Dr. Jeffrey Karr, role of the clinical coordinator lecture by Leslie Tooke RN, and role of the clinical manager lecture by program director.

1:00 – 4:00 pm: Observation and case discussion in Dr. Karr’s clinic.
